A practical reference for your next drawing
3D pose reference for drawing
Find a useful angle, shape the gesture and make a figure drawing reference that fits the character you want to draw.
Build the reference around your idea
Start with a 3D figure, then adjust its joints to explore a pose. Rotate and frame the camera to study the silhouette from the view you plan to draw. Change the lighting when you need clearer form and shadow.
For a moving gesture, browse the motion library and freeze a moment to study it as a still pose. You can also choose from the pose library and refine the result by hand.
A drawing tool for figure studies and characters
Use a 3D mannequin as a flexible starting point for gesture drawing, character illustration, manga or anime studies. Poselith provides a reference to interpret; your drawing remains your own.
The free Studio includes body posing, camera controls and a selection of library content. Pro expands access to the full pose and motion libraries, more props and additional lighting controls. Current plan details are shown in the Studio.
